Ray Parlour, a former professional football player, has been named as NetBet's UK brand ambassador for the 2024 campaign.
This announcement, which follows the brand's recent launch of its new sports betting app this month, which features thousands of markets across a variety of sports and leagues, daily promotions, and weekly free-to-play games, comes shortly after Parlour was named NetBet's first football ambassador.
The legendary former Arsenal player, known to his supporters as the "Romford Pele," won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, the League Cup, the UEFA Cup Winners Cup, and three Community Shields while he was a member of the Gunners. He also possesses knowledge of golf, horse racing, and football.
He will promote the NetBet brand by participating in all of the sports and casino marketing efforts under this agreement.
Marcel Prioteasa, Managing Director of NetBet, stated: "We're thrilled to have Ray join our team. Since Ray is one of the most adored football figures, we know that our gamers are knowledgeable about sports, therefore we're excited for them to get access to his exclusive content and professional advice.
In addition, Parlour stated, "I'm excited to be a part of NetBet. There is an incredible sporting year ahead of us, and NetBet has some amazing ideas that I would love to be a part of.
This comes after NetBet had a busy finish to 2023, partnering with Red Tiger, Stakelogic, and Platipus through its Italy division. Ray Parlour, a former professional football player, has been named as NetBet's UK brand ambassador for the 2024 campaign.
